Vevey

Vevey is one of the true "Pearls of the Swiss Riviera," a beautiful town on the northern shore of Lake Geneva. A Town of Sweet History

It's also home to the world headquarters of the food giant Nestlé, founded in the town in 1867. Vevey also attracted one of the world's most famous entertainers: Charlie Chaplin. The legendary actor and comedian lived here from 1952 until he died in 1977.

Vevey is the perfect starting point for exploring the Vaud Riviera. The town's lakeside promenade is a beautiful, flower-filled path lined with palm trees. It's ideal for a leisurely stroll or a bike ride, and it connects you to neighboring towns like Montreux and the famous Château de Chillon.

For wine lovers, the Lavaux vineyards are a must-see. The "Vine Train" (Train des Vignes) travels from Vevey through these UNESCO-listed terraced vineyards to Puidoux-Chexbres, offering spectacular views.
